Stratmoor Hills is situated between Colorado Springs and Fort Carson Army Post. We are 4 square miles of very diverse population and communities and protect 6 miles of Interstate 25. We provide fire protection, Haz-Mat mitigation, and traffic accident response, but most of what our department responds to is medical emergencies. We also provide protection to the Pikes Peak Community College Centennial campus and the Phoenix tower on South Circle Dr. along with the rest of the “Springs Office Park” buildings in its complex. We also work closely with our surrounding fire agencies (Colorado Springs Fire Department, Ft. Carson Fire and Emergency Services, City of Fountain Fire Department, and Security Fire Department) through mutual aid agreements and dual response areas. If you are ever in the area, please stop by and say hi.

“Being a professional firefighter is not reflected by salaries but means providing the best service possible to the public and taking the ownership in ensuring that your training and the department’s technology are kept up to date.”
